Zero-retention architecture & zero backups

Web2PDF is built with strict, uncompromising privacy standards. When you use Web2PDF to clean articles or convert web pages into printable documents and PDFs, our systems operate on an entirely ephemeral basis. We do not save, record, retain, or backup any target URLs, web page contents, extracted text, or generated PDF files.

All PDF file compilation and layout generation take place locally on your computer inside your web browser memory. Documents are downloaded directly to your local storage without ever being transmitted to our servers or stored in any cloud storage bucket.

Information we do not collect

Web2PDF guarantees that we do not collect, log, or track:

• The URLs of articles or websites you submit for cleaning.
• The text, headlines, images, or metadata extracted from those pages.
• Any custom edits, deletions, or font modifications you make in the editor.
• The generated PDF files, their filenames, or download timestamps.
• User profiling data, tracking cookies, or advertising identifiers.

Ephemeral memory processing

When fetching a public URL through the article cleaning service, the webpage HTML is retrieved directly in-memory, cleaned with Mozilla Readability and DOMPurify, and immediately returned to your browser. No database, server log, disk cache, or persistent archive is written. Memory buffers are immediately reclaimed upon request completion.

For users who paste raw HTML or text directly into the application, processing occurs 100% client-side inside the browser without making any network request to our servers.

Client-side document export

When you click “Download PDF” or “Print Page”, your browser renders the styled document and produces the final file locally via html2pdf.js and the native browser print engine. No document payload is ever uploaded to LittleToolz, Cloudflare, or any external API.

Third-party infrastructure and compliance

Web2PDF is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process standard network metadata (such as IP address and HTTP headers) strictly for website delivery, DDoS mitigation, and edge security under Cloudflare’s standard privacy policy. We have not installed any behavioral trackers, Google Analytics, or marketing pixels on Web2PDF.
